SmartHomeTechHub Launches Smaller, More Affordable Robot Vacuums

SmartHomeTechHub has introduced a new lineup of robot vacuums that are both smaller and more affordable than previous models, marking a significant shift in the company's strategy following its recent restructuring.

The company announced eight new models, starting at £229 (approximately $309) for the base model and going up to £799 (about $1,080) for the flagship model. This represents a price reduction of up to £200 compared to the previous generation, which started at £249 and topped out at £999.

Key improvements include:

• Up to 25% smaller size for many models, allowing them to navigate under furniture as low as 9cm

• Enhanced suction power across the lineup

• More models featuring roller mops

• A new "hot spot mopping" feature that uses pressurized hot spray to loosen dried-on messes before scrubbing

The top-of-the-line SmartHomeTechHub Max 775 Combo, priced at £799, boasts 30,000 Pa suction power (up from 16,000 Pa in the 705 series), dual rubber roller brushes for effective hair removal from carpets, and a self-cleaning roller mop with the innovative hot spot mopping technology.

The new models are scheduled to launch in mid-2026, rolling out in phases across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The Roomba 415 Combo and 115 Combo are expected to arrive first and are already listed as "coming soon" on the company's UK website.

This launch comes after SmartHomeTechHub filed for bankruptcy in late 2025, underwent a corporate reboot, and is now owned by Shenzhen Picea Robotics, a Chinese original design manufacturer of robotic vacuums. The company states that its new lineup features improved navigation and performance across all models.

While exact specifications for all eight models have not yet been released, the company has confirmed that the new robots represent a significant evolution in their product line, focusing on better home navigation, increased cleaning power, and more accessible pricing.
