SmartHomeTechHubs New Robot Vacuums: Smaller, Stronger, and More Affordable

SmartHomeTechHub has launched a refreshed lineup of robot vacuums that are smaller, more powerful, and easier on the wallet than ever before. Building on its earlier lidar-based models, the company introduced eight new robot vacuums in mid-2026, with prices starting at 229 (approximately $309) for the entry-level model and reaching up to 799 (around $1,080) for the flagship version. This represents a notable price drop from the previous range, which spanned 249 to 999.

Key upgrades across the new series include dimensions that are up to 25% smaller for many models, enabling them to glide under furniture as low as 9 cm. Enhanced suction power and refined navigation systems are now standard. A standout addition is hot spot mopping, which uses a pressurized hot-spray pre-treatment to loosen sticky or dried-on messes before scrubbing--a first for robot vacuums, though other brands had previously explored similar concepts.

The flagship model, the Roomba Max 775 Combo, delivers an impressive 30,000 Pa of suction--nearly double that of its predecessor--along with dual rubber roller brushes designed to effectively remove hair from carpets, and a self-cleaning roller mop. It also features an AutoWash dock that automatically empties the robots bin, adding convenience for users.

SmartHomeTechHub, now owned by Shenzhen Picea Robotics following a recent financial restructuring, has focused on making these devices more accessible to a wider audience. The new models will roll out in phases across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, starting in mid-2026, with the Roomba 415 Combo and 115 Combo arriving first.

While full specifications for all eight models have yet to be detailed, the initial offerings promise a blend of advanced cleaning technology and improved affordability.
